I am writing to thank the staff who recently made our wedding day an amazing day. I would particularly like to thank Sally, who was quite frankly, outstanding.
We got married on 31st July 2004 and had our wedding reception at the Rhinewood Hotel. From the day we first arrived to choose the hotel the staff were fantastic. We had previously looked around several hotels near our home and found them to be very impersonal and indifferent to our needs. When we came to the Rhinewood Hotel, however, we instantly had a welcome feeling. The staff on the reception were friendly and helpful, and totally ready to assist us in showing us the hotel and photographs of previous wedding so we could envisage the rooms as they would look when prepared for the day.
As co-ordinator for weddings at the Rhinewood Hotel, Sally shone. Originally she gave us ideas of where to start looking for entertainment and decorations etc as we didn’t have a clue what to do, and then during the run up to the wedding itself she ensured that we didn’t panic. On several occasions she telephoned just to make sure that we were okay and generally offered us support on all fronts. She accommodated us regularly during last minute changes, assuring us that no matter what happened, the changes would be done and not to worry.
The best man was a bag of nerves before the wedding and Sally did a great job of keeping him together and helping him in his duties. On the day, Sally probably had as long a day as we did ourselves. She was at the hotel from early on the Saturday morning until after 1a.m. on the Sunday morning, and refused to go home until the evening was completely over.
As a whole, the entire staff was magnificent. The guests commented on how efficient and helpful the staff was, and how welcoming the hotel felt. The food was also perfect and thankfully served as a meal rather than separate.
We really can’t stress how fantastic the staff has been throughout the wedding and preparations and we would appreciate it if you could pass on our sincerest thanks for everything. Our only criticism is that the day had to end. We have been treated like royalty throughout and we couldn’t have hoped for a better day.

Myself and 11 other guests stayed for two nights with three days conference facilities at the Rhinewood Hotel. I would like to express my feelings about our stay and hope you will pass this letter on to all concerned. I would like to thank all the staff at the hotel that provided us with excellent facilities, and catered to our every need during our stay. Each and everyone of the staff members were extremely efficient, friendly and courteous at all times. Every request was met in a timely manner and it was never necessary to ask twice.
The food during our stay was varied and excellent, especially the variety we were offered for lunch, which when used to repeated buffets with the same contents every day, was a welcome sight. Since completing the three day workshop I have received similar comments from each and every one of the other guests, who were made to feel welcome and at home. Having organised this workshop, I would personally like to thank all of the staff for making me look good! I would not hesitate in organising further conferences in the future.

We first booked our wedding day at your hotel just over one year ago. At the time we could see from the number of bookings, that you appeared to be a popular location. During the planning, prior to our big day it became clear to us both just why this popularity existed. Each visit or phone call was treated with the utmost importance and every question or query, no matter how small, was always handled promptly.
Scott and I felt at ease during our preparations, safe in the knowledge that any help we needed was only ever a phone call away.
Then came our wedding day! All of you treated us so wonderfully. Your staff seemed genuinely as excited as we did ourselves and this showed in the level of care and attention you gave to myself, Scott and all our guests.
So many guests have complimented us on our choice of venue, saying that they have never been to a wedding that was so well organised. All of your hotel staff were so wonderful and helpful, from the kind lady who came in on her day off, just to help us to tie cravats, to the ladies cleaning the rooms the day after, who told us not to worry about vacating our rooms.
The atmosphere provided by all made us feel more like old friends of the hotel, rather than customers.
And finally Sally especially, you made me feel that you could not have treated me with any more importance, had I been your own daughter. The care and attention you gave to everyone, the running around and the little things you did over and above your normal responsibilities showed to us all that you are not only an excellent manager, but one of the most decent, kind hearted ladies we have all ever hat the pleasure of meeting. Every single guest knew your name and all had wonderful things to say about you. I am still being told tales even now, of the kind things you did for so many guests.
So many venues nowadays want to pre-package weddings and use a one size fits all approach.
The Rhinewood Hotel however is unique, you obviously care enough to have provided the wedding of our dreams, and because of you, our wedding day was spectacular. So, from myself, Scott, Bob, Mary, Alan and Barbara, and all of our guests, we would like to thank you unreservedly.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for the wonderful Wedding Reception you organised for us on the 29th December 2005. It was absolutely perfect. All our guests had a fantastic time and enjoyed the atmosphere and the Wedding breakfast. The room was beautifully decorated and the food and service were faultless.
The personal touches and support from you in the weeks leading up to our big day really helped to keep us calm.
It was a dream come true and the Rhinewood Hotel made it extra-special.

I would like to thank you and your team, for your assistance, particularly during our 4 days of training at the Rhinewood. I have received excellent feedback for services provided by all areas of the hotel.
Several colleagues have made a point of telling me that your staff were extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough to assist them.
Not only were these comments received from our conference delegates but they have been reiterated by our long-term guests.
All our guests enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the hotel and appreciate your commitment in ensuring each individual’s needs are met. Your flexibility in enabling the guests to rotate between B&B; and D,B&B; rates has been extremely helpful. Additionally, I would like to acknowledge your chef, who continues to cater for special and favourite meals.
Personally, I would like to thank your Receptionists, particularly Jackie, for their assistance with our ongoing accommodation requirements. I would also like to extend my thanks for their support during the 4 days of training and the previous 2 day conference held in December 2005.
